Great sushi, good quality and reasonably priced. Has always had a great reputation and a casual atmosphere.
I'm a big sushi fan and this one is close to where I work so I decided to try it out. The reviews are not great but above average. I did enjoy it and had a mixed plate with salmon teriyaki, brown rice($1.50 extra), shrimp/vege tempura and miso soup which was lukewarm and below average. Total cost with a Sprite and tip was $40.
I've been going here more and I have to say it's grown on me. The service is always very friendly, the food is consistently good and prices are fair. It's much more convenient to park here and it's easier to get a table and I know I'm always get something good, it's a place to bring the family and they even have a TV where you can watch the dodger game. Overall, this is worth five stars as a local Japanese restaurant that specializes in sushi.
I went to this place for lunch and I really wanted to like it. However, I feel like I ordered the wrong items. I got a $12.50 chicken udon and a $3.50 iced tea. The udon was very salty and not very visually appealing; I think it could use some more color. I would have preferred to pay more for an "upgraded" udon with more toppings. The iced tea was very standard and since I don't usually order iced tea, I wasn't expecting it to be just average. Despite the restaurant being very busy with families during lunch, the service was fast. 3.5 stars for my dining experience today.
I come here only for lunch. Great value for the price. Steak and salmon are decent quality and size. I always leave feeling 200% full. Customer service is average. I had no issues. Just wish they open longer for lunch.
